About Me
Hello! My name is Keiran Knaupe and I am the founder of The Retro Game Lounge. My Passion for retro games began when I was very young, and I bought my first system, a Super Nintendo Entertainment System, also known as the SNES. I remember how excited I was. This was back in 2014, when game systems like the Xbox One, Wii U, and PS4 were available. Yet there was something about the no-wait time, no downloads, and cartridges that drew me in. I want everyone to be able to experience the same love I have.
My Story
My goal withThe Retro Gaming Lounge is to keep retro games alive and plant the passion for retro games in the younger generations and to rekindle the passion in the kids who grew up with these amazing games. We want to give you the experience and excitement of a kid in the 90s at a Babbages, getting your first game or system and opening it. How are we going to achieve this, you may ask. Well, whether it's with all original in-box games or original games with reproduction boxes, as here we believe that everyone deserves to open their game like it was just released! Our systems are all open, cleaned, and tested prior to being boxed and shipped. All products that are opened have photos with them that will be sent to you with your order, so you can see firsthand the quality of your game or console.
